Mr. Giri and his wife welcomed us like family. The bed was the comfiest I slept in during my whole Nepal trip, and the home-cooked dal bhat on the first night was outstanding. Best value accommodation in Kathmandu by far.
I can’t recommend this homestay enough—it was truly a home away from home! … Mr. Giri and his wife were the sweetest people and most amazing hosts!!
Stayed 4 nights before our EBC trek — Sacred Trails was the perfect base. The team helped organise permits, packed lunches, and gave us a full pre-trek briefing. Room was spotless. Highly recommend.

Lovely boutique hotel — only 9 rooms so it feels like home. Staff knew us by name within hours. Did the Kathmandu Heritage Walk with them — best $45 we spent all trip. Will stay every visit.

We stayed 5 nights before and after the EBC trek. Sacred Trails organised everything — permits, gear storage, trail advice. Arriving back to a hot meal after 14 days in the mountains nearly made me cry. This is what hospitality means.
The Poon Hill trek organised by Sacred Trails was incredible. Our guide was knowledgeable, the teahouses were pre-booked, and the sunrise was magical. Already planning my next trek!
Sacred Trails organised our Annapurna Base Camp trek for a group of six. Permits, guide, porters — all professional and friendly. The value compared to other operators was outstanding.
Booked the Trek + Stay combo — two nights before and two after the Langtang trek. Everything flawlessly handled. Room was spotless, meals were great, and the trek was exceptional. Saved a lot vs booking separately.
