Mr. and Mrs. Giri were the best hosts we could have asked for. They kindly took care of 9 college kids studying abroad. They made breakfast everyday and even made traditional dinner. We would definitely come back!

Sacred Homestay truly felt like a home away from home. From the moment we arrived, Mr. Giri and his wife welcomed us like family. Their kindness and hospitality made our stay incredibly special. The rooms offered the most breathtaking view of Kathmandu, and the bed was honestly the comfiest I’ve ever slept on! Breakfast every morning was absolutely delicious. The homestay is just a short drive from the center of Kathmandu, making it peaceful and quiet while still being close to everything. We also loved the short walk to the nearby grocery store. Mr. Giri even made us an authentic Nepali dinner, which was a meal I will dream about for the rest of my life. I’m genuinely sad to leave Sacred Homestay. If I ever return to Nepal, this will be the very first place I go. Highly recommend to anyone looking for comfort, warmth, and unforgettable hospitality.

I loved the location of the house because it’s very near the forest for those who want to hike and exercise, while still near the center of Budhanilkatha. The house has a nice view from the roof terrace of upper Kathmandu and surrounding hills. The owners are so friendly and helpful, and go out of their way to make you feel at home. Also, being 200 m of elevation higher than the center of Kathmandu or Boudhanath, the air is of much beater quality here and temperatures a bit lower, which is great in hot season.

ブダニールカンタという場所自体が日本人の間では有名ではないですが、とてもオススメの場所です カトマンズから近いですが、小高い丘の上で空気が綺麗で景色も良く、文化的な観光地もあります この辺りにはいくつか高級ホテルがあるようですが、このホテルはそれに負けない設備がありつつ、ネパールの方の日々の暮らしを体験することが出来ます 朝晩のお祈りやお祭の準備の様子を見せて頂き、オーナーのギリさんとも色々とネパールについてのお話が出来ました 息子さんがエンジニアということもあって、電気周りの設備、Wifiが整っていて、ネパールには珍しく洗濯機もあります ランドリーサービスも気軽にお願い出来ました 長期滞在用のアパートメントタイプもあるようなので、機会があればそちらにもゆっくり滞在してみたいです

Ein Ort voller Leidenschaft und Gastverständnis! Giri, der Besitzer, hat sich allergrößte Mühe gegeben, dass ich mich ausnahmslos wohl gefühlt habe. Er hat mir alles über die Gegend erklärt und wunderbare Vorschläge für Tagestrips und ähnliches gegeben. Die Zimmer sind neuwertig und haben seeehr bequeme Betten. Die Aussicht vom Dach auf das Panorama von Kathmandu ist der Hammer. Zun Glück ist es hier sehr leise, sodass man gut schlafen kann. Absolute Empfehlung!
