Sacred Trails Kathmandu Homestay is at Tushal Height, Budhanilkantha-5, Kathmandu 44600 — on the northern edge of the city, at the foot of Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park. Here is how to get here and get around.
Airport access
Tribhuvan International Airport is about 12 km away, typically 30–40 minutes by car depending on traffic. We can arrange airport pickup and drop-off on request — send us your flight details when you book.
Public transport, taxis and ride-hailing
The nearest bus stop is about a 10-minute walk away. Local buses and minibuses run regularly from Budhanilkantha into the city centre. Taxis and ride-hailing apps are readily available in the area.
Distance to Thamel
Thamel, Kathmandu's main tourist district, is roughly 8–10 km away — about 25–35 minutes by taxi. It's the place for restaurants, trekking gear, bookshops, nightlife and travel agencies.
