Overview
Pokhara is Nepal's most-loved lakeside city: Phewa Lake mirrors the Annapurna range, and the fishtail summit of Machapuchare rises straight out of the green hills. This five-day escape flies you there and back, so you spend your time by the lake rather than on the road.
Watch sunrise over Annapurna, Machapuchare and Dhaulagiri from Sarangkot, explore Davis Falls, Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave and the World Peace Pagoda, visit the International Mountain Museum, and spend a full day on one adventure — paragliding, rafting, mountain biking or a hike to Australian Camp. Day-by-day itinerary
Every itinerary can be adjusted — extra rest days, private departures or a different pace.
Day 1: Fly to Pokhara
Morning flight from Kathmandu (about 25 minutes). Afternoon boat ride to Tal Barahi Temple and an evening walk along Lakeside.
Day 2: Sarangkot sunrise and Pokhara sightseeing
A pre-dawn drive to Sarangkot for sunrise over the Himalaya. After breakfast and a rest, visit Davis Falls, Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave and the World Peace Pagoda.
Day 3: Mountain Museum and a free afternoon
The International Mountain Museum and Bindhyabasini Temple, lunch by the lake, and a free afternoon for the Lakeside market or a quiet paddle.
Day 4: Adventure day
Choose one: tandem paragliding from Sarangkot, white-water rafting, a mountain-bike ride to Begnas Lake, or a hike to Australian Camp.
Day 5: Slow morning and return
Sunrise on Phewa Lake and breakfast, then the scenic flight back to Kathmandu and transfer to the homestay or the international airport.
