Spacious apartment lounge with sofas, TV unit and plants

Travelling with friends, a trekking club or a family group? Sacred Trails Kathmandu Homestay has six private guest rooms and a 2-bedroom family apartment in one family home, so a group can stay together under one roof — and we can arrange the trek or tour too.

Staying together

  • Deluxe Twin rooms (two single beds) suit friends who are happy to share; Deluxe King rooms suit couples in the group. Both are $35 a night with breakfast.
  • The 2-bedroom family apartment ($70 a night) has a living room with a large sofa set and a full kitchen — a natural common room for planning and evenings in.
  • Every room has its own bathroom with 24/7 hot water, so nobody queues for the shower.
  • The rooftop terrace and shared balconies on every floor give the group space to gather.

Trekking as a group

Our Everest Base Camp and Annapurna Base Camp treks run for groups of 2–16 trekkers, and the Poon Hill trek runs as private and small-group departures. Every trek includes a licensed, English-speaking guide, a shared porter service (one porter for every two trekkers), all permits, teahouse accommodation, meals on trekking days, and homestay nights before and after.

Touring as a group

All our tours run as private and small-group departures, and private departures run year-round — so your group travels on its own schedule with its own guide. Popular group choices are the Sacred Triangle (Kathmandu, Chitwan and Lumbini in 9 days, from $800 per person) and the Complete Nepal Journey (11 days including Pokhara, from $1,500 per person). Each tour includes airport pickup and drop-off, accommodation, overland transfers and a professional English-speaking guide.

Stay + Trek in one price

Book your trek or tour with us and we bundle the homestay nights before and after, permits, guide and airport transfers into one combined price — simpler for the group organiser, and usually better value than booking separately.
