Arriving late or flying out early? How a one-night stay at Sacred Trails works — airport pickup, a quiet room, breakfast and a drop-off timed to your flight.

Plenty of our guests stay just one night: arriving late before a trek, catching an early domestic flight, or breaking a long journey. Here's how we make a short stay easy.

Arriving late

Send us your flight number and we'll meet you outside arrivals with a name sign, even at night. The homestay is about 12 km from the airport — usually 30–40 minutes — and your room will be ready.

Leaving early

Tell us your departure time and we'll arrange the drop-off with time to spare. If you're leaving before breakfast, let us know the night before.

Check-in and check-out

  • Check-in from 12:00 — early check-in on request when the room is ready.
  • Check-out by 11:00 — late check-out on request.
  • Free cancellation up to 24 hours before arrival if your flight changes.

A night well spent

Even one night is enough for an evening on the rooftop, a walk to the Sleeping Vishnu temple nearby and a proper sleep in a quiet room before the next leg of your journey.

Frequently asked questions

Can you pick me up from Kathmandu airport late at night?

Yes. Send us your flight details and we'll meet you outside arrivals.

Is one night enough to stay in Budhanilkantha?

For a layover, yes: it's about 12 km from the airport and much quieter than the city centre, so you get a proper rest.
